General
Information

The Sharpshooters Association is a member of the National Dart Federation of Canada.  The objective of our association is to promote the game of darts in a sportsmanlike manner.

All play is governed by the national rules.

The Sharpshooters sends a team of eight women and eight men to the Canadian National Championships each year to compete for the Canadian title.  A player can move on to represent Canada in World Cup play.

Our dart season begins in October of each year and we have a total of five point shoots to determine the players that will make up Team P.E.I.

To become eligible for the team, you must become a member of our association and compete in our point shoots.  These shoots are held Island wide as we have members from all areas.  Various fundraisers are done throughout the year to raise money to help offset the cost of travel to The Nationals.

Each year The Nationals are held in June in one of the provinces or territories.   The 2009 Nationals were hosted in St. Hyacinthe, Quebec.   In 2010, The Nationals will be hosted in Gander, Newfoundland.

Anyone wishing information about our Association may call Christina Mill, Secretary at 836-3460 email christi02@msn.com or Mary Thomson, Provincial Director at 892-0605 email mcthomson48@hotmail.com.  You may also use the "Contact us" tab to send any questions or suggestions.
